# Compare Rentals on RentX

Helps a user decide between candidate rental cars by surfacing the differences that actually affect their trip.

## When to use

- The user has narrowed down to 2–5 cars and asks "which one should I pick?".
- The user wants to compare "this car vs that car" by URL or ID.
- The user is weighing trade-offs (cheaper but manual vs. more expensive but automatic, etc.).

## Inputs to gather

Required:
- 2 or more rental IDs (from search results, URLs like `rentx.al/rental/{id}`, or user-supplied).
- Pickup date and drop-off date (so price comparisons are for the same window).
- Pickup location ID.

## How to execute

1. For each rental ID, call `get_rental` with the same `{ pickupDate, dropoffDate, pickupLocationId }`.
2. For each rental, optionally call `get_rental_reviews` to get a review summary score.
3. For each unique rental company, optionally call `get_company` to surface fleet size and overall company rating.
4. Produce a comparison table covering:
   - Total price for the requested window (EUR).
   - Make, model, year.
   - Transmission, fuel type, seats, doors, luggage.
   - Included insurance level vs. add-ons available.
   - Rental company name and rating.
   - Per-car review score and review count.
   - Notable extras included (AC, GPS, Bluetooth, etc.).
5. End with a one-line recommendation grounded in the user's stated priority (budget / comfort / company reputation). If the user did not state a priority, ask before recommending.

## Endpoints

- MCP transport: `https://rentx.al/api/ai/mcp`
- Tools used: `get_rental`, `get_rental_reviews`, `get_company`

## Example flow

User: "Compare these two cars for June 12–19 from Tirana airport: rental 4821 and rental 5103."

1. `get_rental` for `4821` and `5103` with the trip dates.
2. `get_rental_reviews` for both.
3. Build the table, point out the 2–3 differences that matter most.
