Tools

All 9 are read-only. Each one's full input schema comes back from tools/list.

• filter_rentals

  Filter available rental cars in Albania by dates, car type, price range, transmission, fuel type, seats, company, pickup/drop-off location, and more. Returns a paginated list of matching vehicles with pricing.

• get_rental

  Full details for a specific rental car including car specs, company info, images, insurance options, and extras. Optionally calculates price for given dates and pickup location.

• get_rental_reviews

  Reviews for a specific rental car including category scores (cleanliness, condition, communication, accuracy), comments, and host replies.

• get_locations

  All available pickup and drop-off locations in Albania, including airports and city centers with coordinates.

• get_company

  Rental company profile including fleet (up to 10 cars), recent reviews, ratings, locations, and contact info.

• get_reviews

  Reviews for a specific rental company. Filter by minimum score and limit results.

• search_text

  Free-text search across rentals, companies, car brands, and addresses. Returns references that can be fetched with get_rental or get_company.

• get_blog_posts

  List blog posts about travel and car rental in Albania. Returns titles, excerpts, tags, authors, and dates.

• get_blog_post

  Full blog post by slug, including HTML content, tags, and author info.

A typical flow

   get_locations - Resolve the traveller's city or airport to a pickup location ID.

   filter_rentals - Search with that location, the dates and any filters (car type, transmission, seats, price).

   get_rental - Price one car for the exact dates and pickup location, with its insurance options and extras.

   get_rental_reviews - Check what earlier renters said about that car and its company.

   Hand off - Send the traveller to the car's page with their dates filled in; they book and pay there.

Booking handoff

There is no booking API for agents. Send the traveller to the car's page with their dates already filled in; they choose insurance and extras, and pay on the secure checkout.

Usage rules

• Content signals: search=yes, ai-input=yes, ai-train=no. Use RentX pages to answer travellers; do not use them to train models.
• Do not fetch /api/ (other than the MCP endpoint), /login, /signup, /booking-details/, /confirm-booking, /payment/ or /review/. They are private or transactional.
• Do not book or pay on a traveller's behalf. Quote, compare and hand off; the traveller books on rentx.al.
• Prices are in EUR unless the traveller switches currency. Cancellation terms vary by rental company: surface them from get_rental before the traveller pays.
